Near eastern Siberia, a couple of environmental ecology researchers discover a badly wounded tiger cub during a field expedition and bring it home to raise as their own. When the couple die young, their child Hoya is left alone in the world with only the tiger for company. Raised apart from human society and shaped by the wild, Hoya eventually finds himself drawn into the city through a series of unexpected events.
