An exhausted office worker three years into her career suddenly wakes up inside a zombie apocalypse novel — as the worst kind of villainess, notorious for causing nothing but trouble. Hoping to keep a low profile and avoid the grim fate awaiting that character in the original story, she plans to stay quiet. That lasts about five minutes before she's rallying the other women to stop waiting to be rescued and start escaping on their own. The real problem is that every apocalypse story has a truly useless troublemaker, and this world is no exception. Still, after putting a few of those chaos-causers firmly in their place, she finds herself with an unexpected problem: the male leads are all following her around instead of the actual heroine. Now they're threatening to zombify — or outright kill — anyone who looks at her sideways. She just wants to go home. This is so not in her job description.
