After losing his grandmother — his only family — Seunghyo volunteers as a doctor at a quiet rural clinic, hoping to heal his grief somewhere peaceful. The villagers seem warm and welcoming, all except one: a young nurse named Bong-i, who bluntly tells Seunghyo to get out of town the moment they meet.
