Won Doyeon is already having the worst day of her life when a cockroach turns up in her apartment. Crippled by OCD and mysophobia, she begs a delivery man named Bok Geumho to deal with it — but when she rejects his out-of-nowhere confession of love, he retaliates by throwing more cockroaches inside. In desperation, she turns to an exterminator she finds on a secondhand trading app. Furious and jealous, Geumho sets his sights on the new arrival. Three men — her father, the exterminator, and Geumho — all end up in the same place for the same reason. Someone dies. From that moment on, a chain of cockroach-linked incidents begins to unravel the dark and fractured history of Doyeon's family, rewriting it in ways no one could have predicted.
