The player controls Lili, a young new consort fresh to the imperial palace, with the goal of ousting the powerful Imperial Consort and claiming the throne as Empress. High schooler Yona wakes up one day to find herself body-swapped into that very game — not as the heroine Lili, but as the villain, the Imperial Consort herself. With her college entrance exam just ten days away, the last thing she needs is this. The status screen she expects from the VR version never appears, and a mysterious eunuch named Haetsal-i only adds to the chaos. After the commotion settles, a figure who appears to be the Game Master shows up and demands she clear the game by achieving the Empress ending. With no other choice, Yona steels herself and sets out to win the crown.
