あらすじ

After years of working as a secretary, she wakes up on her last day of employment to find herself inhabiting Rosalyn Verit, a minor character from a novel she'd been reading. Since she's already here as the daughter of a minor nobleman, she figures she'll just live out her days in comfort — but her oblivious brother goes and becomes secretary to a tyrant emperor. Not wanting to die, she takes the job herself, and five years later it turns out that experience really does matter: the place practically runs itself without her. Time to finally quit and enjoy life. Except when she hands in her resignation, the emperor has other ideas — which raises the question of why he lets everyone else walk away but refuses to let her go.
