Lee Ji-an, a Korean boy cut from a prestigious Italian youth academy, ends up on the bench at AC Florence's youth squad, quietly wasting his days away. He's been boasting to his childhood friend Kim Ji-woo that he's a total prodigy — but when Ji-woo announces she's coming to Italy to study abroad, Ji-an realizes he can't let her see the truth. Desperate not to disappoint her, he sets his sights on winning a starting spot. What Ji-an doesn't know is that he actually is a once-in-a-generation football genius. The question is: can he keep up the act with Ji-woo right there watching — and just how long can he hide what he truly is?
