When a grandmother is told that Eunhye, the granddaughter her family waited generations to have, is destined to die young, she secretly switches Eunhye with Siyeon — another baby girl born the same day at the same hospital. Years pass, and at seventeen, when the family raising Eunhye falls into financial hardship, the grandmother brings the girl she raised as Eunhye into her home under the pretense that she is a distant relative.
