One week before crew members including Seolhui are due to return to Earth after completing the trial run of space station Kali, an unidentified spacecraft explodes nearby and its debris comes crashing into the station. Among the wreckage, they discover a strange box etched with an ominous word meaning 'demon' in red letters. Seolhui, the deputy commander, has a bad feeling and argues against opening it, but Commander Peggy orders it unsealed in accordance with station protocol requiring all recovered items to be identified and logged. From that day on, the entire crew begins experiencing disturbing phenomena, and one by one — starting with communications officer Hideki, who opened the box — they are consumed by their deepest traumas and die. A malevolent spirit from Buddhist mythology has taken hold of their minds, and the station descends into bloodshed.
