Guo Qing was born an orphan with a crippled leg, having suffered from polio as a child. Scorned and overlooked by everyone around him, he scraped by selling flatbreads to merchants returning from the Western Regions. One day, on his way home, he stumbles upon an oil lamp. Thinking he might be able to sell it, he rubs it a few times — and a genie appears, offering to grant him three wishes. Guo Qing wastes no time: his first wish is for immense wealth, his second is for a tall, powerful, and handsome body. But his third wish catches everyone off guard: he asks to be sent back in time to before he ever found the lamp. And so begins his endless cycle of reincarnation and return — living each life over and over again with the power of infinite do-overs.
