Sinopsis

The protagonist lives with an impossibly rare condition called "binge-eating deficiency syndrome" — shared by only one other person in the entire world — which forces her to carefully ration every meal just to stay alive. With little hope in sight, her doctor suggests she try a virtual reality game called Athena, where she can eat to her heart's content without any physical consequences.
