Sinopsis

The war is finally over, and after three long years, life in a quiet countryside village has more or less returned to normal — until a hulking, rough-looking drifter barges into the restaurant and announces he's come to repay a debt to her late father. The catch: he has no idea what the debt actually was, and her father died in the war, so there's no one left to ask. She tells him to forget it and leave. He refuses, insisting she name her price. She has too much pride to accept money — so in a moment of exasperation, she tells him to pay her back with his labor.
