Synopsis

Three hundred years ago, the Third World War escalated into biological warfare, unleashing the mutant R-virus and giving rise to the Layers — superhuman monsters that prey on humanity. To stand against them, ten warriors known as R-X were created, each possessing a lesser version of the Layers' abilities. The fate of the human race rests entirely in their hands. The mission is clear: protect humanity from the Layers.
