Synopsis

There was something different about that kid — a quiet eeriness, a maturity that didn't quite fit their age. No matter what anyone said, they never seemed to care, as though they existed in a world entirely their own. Something about that air of mystery drew her in, and she finally worked up the courage to say hello. From that day on, secret meetings began at a tucked-away playground in an out-of-the-way apartment complex — and so did something neither of them expected.
