Synopsis

Woo Seunghee is a sharp young CEO who built her own startup from the ground up. One day she learns that she has been bound by a contract to marry Han Mugyeol, heir to the powerful Geumwang Group — and if she refuses, she'll owe five billion won. Determined to avoid the marriage, she proposes a prenuptial agreement, reasoning that as long as negotiations drag on, no wedding can take place. But the more time she spends with the smooth and magnetic Mugyeol, the harder it becomes to resist him. Things grow complicated when his conservative family makes clear they expect her to quit her business and devote herself to supporting her husband after the wedding. To make matters worse, Mugyeol's soon-to-be brother-in-law is Myeong Jungwoo — a classmate from university who has always despised Seunghee and once led a cruel clique that ranked women by their looks. Though she does her best to ignore him, Jungwoo meddles in her life at every turn and even spreads malicious rumors about her. Despite Mugyeol's efforts, their relationship grows increasingly fragile as the pressure mounts from all sides.
